Kyounghwan graduated with Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Kyung Hee Univ. in 2021. His research interests are anti-fouling/anti-corrosion with interfacial phenomena on micro/nano-engineered surface and automatic monitoring system with image processing based on deep-learning. He is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at KRISO.
이주영 Jooyoung Lee

Jooyoung graduated with B.E. and M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the Kyung Hee University in 2018 and 2020, respectively. His main research interests are the optimization through FEM based numerical simulation tools (COMSOL, ANSYS), and the development of efficient thermal management modules for both high power semiconductors and battery packs. He participated in the development of a novel cooling solution for inverters and batteries for HEV/EV. He currently joins Prof. Choongho Yu's Nano Energy Laboratory of Texas A&M University as a Ph.D. student.

Donghyeon graduated with Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Kyung Hee Univ. in 2019. His research interests are 1) the phase change heat transfer, including condensation, freezing, and evaporation, 2) wetting, capillary and interfacial dynamics on micro and nanoscale structures, 3) development of advanced materials and surfaces for high heat and mass transfer, 4) advanced thermal management systems for vehicles, electronics, and heat exchangers. He is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at KIMM.
문병윤 Byungyun Moon

Byungyun received his B.Eng and M.S in Mechanical Engineering at Kyung Hee University in 2017 and 2019. His research interests include convection heat transfer, spray cooling through micro/nanofabricated metal surfaces. He is currently working on developing the periodic spray management system and fabrication of the anti-icing surface. Currently, he is working as an engineer at SEMES.

His research interests include radiative heat transfer, simulation, and fabrication of thermal emitter with nanostructured surface and thermophotovoltaic energy conversion system. Currently, he is working as a researcher at Hyundai Mobis.
류승걸 Seunggeol Ryu

Seunggeol graduated with Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Kyung Hee Univ. in 2019. His research interests include phase change heat transfer, micro/nano-scale structures, design of advanced micro heat spreader including thermal network structures between condenser and evaporator, and effect of various dynamic phenomena on micro/nano-scale structures during droplet impact. Currently, he is working as a researcher at Samsung Electronics.

Dasol graduated with B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from the Kyung Hee University in 2016. His research interests include optimization of optical property using nanostructured surfaces and energy harvesting from thermal and light source. 이정헌 Junghun Lee

Junghun received M.S and B.S degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Kyung Hee university in 2016 and 2014, respectively. His research interests include nanophotonic surfaces with tailored radiative properties, and solar-thermal or thermophotovoltaic energy converters incorporating such nano surfaces. Currently he is working as a researcher at Agency for Defense Development.

Hyunsik received M.S and B.S degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Kyung Hee university in 2016 and 2014, respectively. His research interests include condensation heat transfer and development of robust nano- engineered surfaces. He is currently studying the condensation heat transfer performance and droplet dynamic behavior on scalable nano engineered surfaces. Currently, he is working as a research engineer at thermal-fluid department at Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction.

Jinki received his Ph.D at the Kyung Hee University in 2016. His current research interests focus on heat and mass transfer analysis for developing high efficiency/low emission combustion, NOx reduction technology and compact heat exchanger.
김인규 Inkyu Kim

Inkyu was a research scientist at MEL who arrived through the industry-university cooperation program. He graduated with BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia institute of Technology in 2014. His research interest include shape-memory alloy and corrosion resistance on its surface, CFD and computer simulation related to heat transfer, as well as surface modification materials at nano and micro level and heat transfer behind it. After finishing his full time research experience in MEL, he is currently continuing his study at the University of Florida.
김영준 Young Jun Kim

Young Jun graduated with B.S. from the Kyung Hee university in 2007 and received Ph.D. in 2015.02. During his PhD program, he founded the energy firm that focuses on environmental and energy related technology, and currently he works as the CEO of the TS Engineering. His research interests focus on bio mass power generation and water/gas purification.
이원철 Wonchul Lee

Wonchul was an undergraduate researcher at MEL during 2013~2014. He conducted the heat and mass transfer analysis on micro/nano surfaces. Currently he works at Halla Visteon Climate Control Corp as a research engineer.
